Here we go, friendly neighbors! Only one month to go until Lost in Love comes out on May 3. What else comes out on May 3? The paperback of City Love! So if you want to read the first book of the City Love trilogy before reading the second book, Lost in Love, which I recommend doing since City Love ends on some major cliffhangers, May 3 is a good time to snag both books. Or you could go ahead and pre-order Lost in Love on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or IndieBound.
I am getting this Lost in Love party started with a 5-city book tour to Las Vegas, Chicago, Santa Monica, New York, and Greenville, SC! My rock star publicist has a fresh approach to my tour this year. She has me at three events before the book even comes out to build buzz for the May 3 release. Then we’re doing a May 3 launch event where I strongly feel there should be cake. A final event will happen later in the summer to maintain those summer reading feels. Beyond stoked, you guys.

Saturday, April 16 is Teen Day at RT. Free for teens! This epic day begins with the Giant Book Fair from 11am to 2pm. Tons of YA authors will be in the house. Then there are fun activities and panels all afternoon. That evening you can find me at the FAN-tastic Day Party from 6 to 6:30 and the Epic Reads Teen Day Party from 6:30 to 7:30. I went to RT last year and was mad impressed by these romance lovers. Cannot wait.
April 23, 2016
Chicago Young Adult Book Festival
Yay for a Chicago event! I have been fortunate to do events in Chicago pretty much every year since I started touring. It seems like a good location for those of you in the surrounding areas to get to, which is fabulous. CYA is 10am to 5pm, organized by The Book Cellar. This is a growing festival in its second year. Looks like it will be fun times!
April 30 – May 1, 2016
Santa Monica High School
Santa Monica, CA
Here’s the thing about YALLWest. It is going to be amaze. Like, seriously unreal. I went to this past YALLFest and was blown away by the enthusiasm and positive energy and general awesomeness. And check it: May 1 is my birthday. Party in Santa Monica!!! They just released the schedule and it looks AMAZE. I will be on panels both April 30 and May 1 (signing schedule coming soon). Plus I will be at the Smackdown the evening of April 30. All you have to do is look at this incredible lineup of authors to know that YALLWest is going to rock.

Lost in Love launch event
Books of Wonder
New York, NY
Lost in Love will be out and there will be cake! At least I really hope there will be cake. Join me from 6 to 8pm for I Heart YA:Teen Author Talk with Jennifer E. Smith, Judy Sheehan, and Anna Breslaw. I’m thinking we might do show and tell. Or Top Five Things We’re Obsessed With. Or secret talents. You know, that kind of deal. If you are in the New York area, I hope to see you there!
August 6, 2016
First of all, any venue called the Peace Center is somewhere I want to be. So there’s that. Then I saw the authors who will be there. I mean, yes please. I get the feeling this new festival is going to break out as something huge. So years from now I can be like, “Yeah, I was there when it started.” All nonchalant but freaking out on the inside because Read Up will be legen-wait for it-dary. Legendary!
If you are in the Las Vegas, Chicago, Santa Monica, New York, or Greenville, SC area, I really hope to see your smiling face. And if not, I am hopeful for next time! You can always find updates to my event schedule on my website. I will be doing Facebook Mentions Live videos at these events so at least you can be with me in spirit that way. Did you see the dorktastic live video on my Facebook yesterday for the one-month Lost in Love countdown? Here it is on my YouTube (still dorky).
See you on the road or on the screen ❤
