  1. I’ve read 4 of these 6 but they are all good and I don’t own them 🙂 so I am entering anyways. I am looking forward to BBQing and swimming this summer.

    • this summer im looking forward to going 2 nyc, chilling by the pool, reading (most books are yours) 🙂 watching pretty little liars &&&& seeing taylor swift in concert in 3 weeks and in Nov :), & hopefully will get my license!

  2. This is not an entry (obv), just had to comment on how much I LOVE the 11:11 deadline. I make a wish each time I look at the clock and it happens to be that time.

Also I’m in love with your new BF…

  3. Hello. Um, you may know me. I’m Katie. (; You could’ve told me that first book was in the contest! I have 2/6 (or, if you’re a math whiz, 1/3) of these books. -_- Anyways…

Summertime is SOMETIMES fun time. But here’s what I’m looking forward to.

This Saturday, I’m going on vacation – four hours away is a legitimate vacation. It’s gonna be two weeks in one cabin/cottage surrounded by family and friends – the “gang” that’s been going with us – for many years. We’re literally just a few feet away from the dock, where we can swim in the river, Jet-Ski, go for boat rides, and do all the tubing/water-skiing and stuff. The campfires are exciting, too, and I might even visit the castles – yes, castles – this year. 😀

  4. Oh! All books on my TBR list! Eeeek! Exciting! 🙂

What IM looking forward to most this summer is reading. My reading is so limited during the school year because I get so caught up in getting good grades, and now summer is here I don’t have to worry about that and I can catch up on all my reading, and get a head start for next year! 🙂

  5. I’m looking forward to enjoy as much as possible this summer, swimming, reading, taking long walks and doing lots of new things for me!

  6. I’m looking forward to long car rides to vacations so I can read and listen to music and spend more time with my family. Also less stress!

  7. Of this summer I am looking forward to spend a lot of time with my friends and with my family before I go to college. I want to move to my family´s new house and I want to spend a lot of time just relaxing. I am looking forward to do trips with my parents and to spend a lot of time hanging around with my friends around my pool. I´m looking forward to alone time in my room to make peace with myself, watch movies and read all my favourite books again. 🙂

  8. I’m excited to read by the apartment complex’s pool all summer and to Sing loudly and off key to the sing-along movie showing of Mamma Mia tonight. Oh, and a midnight premiere of Harry Potter as well? How could I not be excited

  9. I’m looking forward to my vacation (a much needed one I might add) which starts three weeks from tomorrow and goes for 10 days. So excited. These books would make excellent plane ride accessories.

  10. I have to say the thing I am looking forward to most is… graduating college this summer!! I am super stoked. And as a result, I get more time to lounge around the pool. A Win-win.

  13. This summer is just like every summer. The same things seem to be happening just as they do every year, only I’m a little older. I think that I am looking most forward to finishing the stack of books I have for my “summer” reads (What Happerns to Goodbye is actually one of them). Most summers I don’t make it all the way through, but this year I will.

    • Whoopsie, I meant So Much Closer is on my list. The other one is the book I’m reading now, I guess that’s what I get for trying to read while typing.

  14. You know, the biggest event of my summer has already passed, and that was when I took my family to Disney World at the beginning of June. However, I am looking forward to hot days. Hot, hot days. I think they’re finally here. 🙂

  15. This summer I am looking forward to reading all the books that I haven’t gotten to yet, going to more Cubs games, cooking more, finishing my room makeover, spending more time with my family and friends, and having new experiences that help me grow 🙂

  16. What a wonderful contest! My biggest thing this summer is I am a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding and it is my nephews 1st birthday! Two very fun and very blessed events!

  17. Ahh! So many awesome books! And some are signed too!
I love summer, especially living in Florida with the beaches and everything. One of my favorites things is swimming. My friends and I will have a pool party and swim till we prune. Nothing better to cool me down. And I love my awesome tan which I get from reading my growing stack of books. 🙂

    Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

  18. Unfortunately I do not live in the states and I don’t have any relatives but if I do win the contest I will pay shipping and handling. This summer the thing that I am most looking forward to is sitting on my garden swing and writing. Also attending Shakespeare plays!

  19. I’m participating in a music festival in the fabulous Park City! There is great lodging, food, and of course music. It takes a lot of hard work on the musicians part, but I look forward to when we get together and start rehearsing. There are guest conductors, sectional instructors, and solo artists, and we are debuting a cello concerto! There is a very unique connection between people when they play music together! I’m very excited for it!

  20. I am a bit older than the usual YA reader LOL – so our summers revolve around my sons’ babseball schedules 😉

    Susan

  21. The thing I’m most looking forward to this summer is seeing my best friend. She’s lived 3 hours away from me our whole friendship, so I don’t get to see her that often. She’s in Ukraine right now, but gets back in a couple days, so that’s when we will spend tine together doing our favorite things– playing old school board games and Apples to Apples until 5am. That’s when I’m happiest. Yay for fun time summer time! 🙂

  22. I am looking forward to spending each and every day with my 2 beautiful kids. This summer I am free, & haven’t got to do allot with them because I was in school. So, this summer we are going to go exploring. And find really fun family things to do..!!
Thank you for having the giveaway.
    Awesome of you.

  24. This summer I am looking forward to going to California for the first time with my best friend!! Can’t wait to act all touristy:)

  25. Hi Susan!
This summer I’m applying to a new school, volunteering at my local hospital, and taking SAT classes. I look forward to getting back to the gym regularly and tone up before school starts. Also, I spend a GREAT portion of time at the library and playing basketball.
Hope you have an awesome summer!

  26. I was looking forward to going to the RWA in NYC this week and I did and just got back! 🙂 It was so much fun! I am trying to win books for my daughter who loves your books!

  27. Summer has always been a relaxing and exciting time for me. Last year my family and I took a two-week trip to europe, but this year I am sooo excited to go on a cruise. This cruise will be my third cruise, and probably my favorite. We will be going to Alaska. The one thing about this trip that I am suuuuuper excited about is watching the dog sleds. I’ll be able to hold the puppies-in-training, witness a sled race, and also ride the sled myself! I seriously can’t wait for this trip. It’s a once in a lifetime opputunity and i am sooo excited! (:

  28. I am looking forward to swimming in the lake, my friend’s wedding and reading Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore, as well as a whole host of other books. I like to think of it this way

more daylight = more time to read

  29. This summer I am looking forward to finishing up my senior thesis and graduating college!
I am also looking forward to reading on the beach and relaxing before I have to get a real job :[

  30. Hello 🙂

Some of the things I am looking forward to are all pretty new to me. Such as, the new job I started a week ago in a clothing store. I get to experience different things every day and learn new things every day. I like being able to have my own money and feel independent. Oh! and also to have some responsibility in the summer. I am also going to enjoy spending as many moments with my friends and family as possible. I can’t wait to just talk to my friends with the beautiful summer weather or to go for a nice walk with a friend on a warm summer night. Just generally be around the people that mean the most to me. A very huge thing I am looking forward to is my birthday gift which is going to be a week vacation in Los Angeles! I am going to love that the most, it will be my first time there with my family and I can’t wait for the new memories and adventures to come!

  31. I’m looking forward to READING!!! I’m also looking forward to my birthday, which is Tuesday, and one of my best friend’s birthday, which is Wednesday=) The 2 birthday kids (my friend and I), my fiancee, his wife, and some of our other close friends pick a day to get together to celebrate. Even though, for me, it signals that summer is getting closer to ending, this is the one event every summer I look forward to the most because I know that I’ll get to see my best friends and have a good time with them. Plus, this year will be even better because my friend’s wife just found out recently that she’s expecting their first child and my wedding is in about 5 1/2 months, which means we’ll have some extra fun things to be excited about!

  32. I am looking forward to heading to China tomorrow as part of an Ambassador Program. I extremely excited not only to see this amazing country, but also to blog! I won an amazing scholarship in which I will be blogging and posting pictures as I travel from Beijing to Hong Kong for 17 days. I really wish I could have had some of these great novels to keep me company, but they will have to wait until I get back. I am also looking forward to relaxing on the beach, which I live conveniently on, attending Yale’s Summer Journalism Program, and enjoying some great novels which I just purchased at the Strand Bookstore! (18 miles of books in New York, it’s a fabulous place to visit for every kind of reader)

  33. I don’t have major plans for the summer, but I’m looking forward to volunteering and having more time to write.

  34. I don’t have a ton of plans, but I’m looking forward to…my birthday (less than a week! 😀 ) …lots of reading…catching up with some friends…enjoying life 🙂

    Lovely new blog, btw 😉

  35. I’m super excited for new books to come out and discover and read new books! I’m also excited to go to my school in two weeks to pick out college classes then in August go to high school registration. (I go to a school where I take college classes, but I’m a senior in high school so I take HS classes too).

  36. The thing I’m looking forward to this summer is my vacation. A bunch of my family, about thirty of us, are going to Yellowstone together. We’re going horseback riding and white water rafting, and we’ll be there for almost a week.

  37. I guess im looking forward to the bon fires, the sand between my toes, endless friend time, and having one of those awesometastical summer epiphanies that makes you a better person or tells you to backpack in Europe or write a book. Ya know??? thats why i love summer its a break from it all to have time to daydream or get ready for your future to become a model or a hermit to be someone you’ve never been before. Sorry I dragged that on…oops 🙂

  38. This summer I’m looking forward spending time with my dad who got really ill before summer vacation. He’s been my best friend, my dad, and mom at the same time. I know this is kind of boring for the summer, but I prefer my dad than goign to LA and spending time with my girlfriends. I also notice I’m going off subject with my problems so forgive me . Before my dad suffered a stroke I had plan for my summer like any other teenager getting a tan before going back to high school, working out to look fam, shopping like crazy, and having just fun. All that acorse was before April 16. Something I feel like I am living a soup opera because right after my dad’s problem my mom family (i don’t live with her) call us to tell us that my mom had been car accident. AHH! I need some control telling other ppl my problems. Well, my point is that I LOVE reading your books and other successful author help me concentrate in other ppl issues. I also want to tell you susane that I love how you get to know your fans. And last i love your book “Waiting for you” & “When it happens”.

  39. I am looking forward to finishing the show I am in as well as continueing to student direct the show Aladdin. 🙂

Great giveaway by the way! 🙂

  41. Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to spending the summer with the teen volunteers at work in the library. I love how busy and hectic the library gets at this time of year, it just reminds us all how important the library is to our community.

More than that, though, I’m looking forward to the days off I have. I love taking off on a random day and heading to the beach (or a friend’s pool) with my daughter.

And I’ve read 1/2 of the books up for grabs, I’d love to have copies to give away to my teens. I’m planning a huge book auction-type thing at the end of the summer, as a reward for my teens who complete summer reading. So, I’m looking forward to that, too!

  42. I am looking forward to late night reading, more time writing music, hanging out with friends, and just chilling!

  43. I’m looking forward to my deadline being over! I challenged myself to finish a book before Labor Day and have been doing great! It will be interesting to see if I’m successful and if not, I can critique myself.

  44. This summer I look forward to finding myself. I want to do things I normally wouldn’t. I want the self knowledge that I can survive on my own and be happy. I’ve started to do this by getting a job at a camp (not knowing a single person) and at the end of august I’ll be going to santorini and greece alone. I hope I can survive and begin to let people into my life.

  45. Hey Susane! This summer I have enjoyed being able to relax without an agenda and read all these books I have stacked up in my room from the past year. I do love reading, although I whole-heartedly confess that I am also completely addicted to the internet, so I split my extra time between the two :). I am a big fan of “recharging my batteries” so I take full advantage of summer. My family does like to go on vacation, too, so we went to Turks and Caicos, which was amazing, and we’re headed to Colorado next week. It’s wonderful :).

    nmpsmile@yahoo.com

  46. The biggest thing I’m looking forward to is this camp I’m going to at the end of the summer that’s all about learning how to become a better writer. There’s all these classes we campers take that teach how to write poetry and short stories and novels and how to develop better characters for stories. And the scenery is just ridiculously beautiful and peaceful. 🙂 Can’t wait!! Love your books! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  47. I’m looking forward to relaxing by the water and reading!

    Thanks for the giveaway!
    danceislove27(at)gmail(dot)com

  48. Anna (annamoore3701@yahoo.com)

I’m looking forward to outdoor concerts, whats better than live music outside and hot band boys? 🙂
Also looking forward to family cook outs and bonfires with my friends. Nothing says summer better than food and the smell of burning wood. Just a few of the things that just say summer fun to me. It what I look forward to most at this time of the year.

  49. I am really looking forward to hanging out with my friends since they are all going to different high schools and I really want us to stay in touch. Actually, I have JUST finished 10 Things We Did and it was just…an amazing book to read.
    Awesome giveaway!!

  50. I’m looking forward to reading books (such as re-reading Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows and the Hunger Games, and reading your book Waiting For You), relaxing on the beach, visiting the heart of NYC for the first time, and helping at a camp (cute little kids and cute guys!).

    Lindsey ( hop2it@cavtel.net )

  51. The thing I’m looking forward to the most this summer is this upcoming week. My cousin, who I practically never see, will be coming up for a week for the Harry Potter release. HP is made us such fantastic friends, so the night before the midnight premiere, we’ll be getting matching HP tattoos :-). So even though one thing that we love is ending, we’ll have something else that will bond us forever.
Happy Summer, and, if I was not mistaken by the writing on the snowball board, have a strawberry cheesecake one for me ;-).

  52. Oh man, so much to look forward to this summer! Working through my pile of books to read, working on writing my novels, trips to my hometown by the beach, time with my bestie and a new boy, trying to find a big girl job (well.. not looking forward to that per se, but it’s the next big step in my life!), lots of theme parks and roller coasters.. and just enjoying friends and fun in the sun! Yay for an awesome post-college summer! ❤

  53. Comic-Con is in two weeks and I’m so FREAKING EXCITED I can’t stand it. I look forward to CC for the entire year.

Also, I love shiny giveaways. They’re much better than those dirty ones. 😉

  54. Dang, also so many things. I’m working now, and that’s fun! Joking. But seriously, I’m a counselor, and my campers are seriously cute (even though one of them slapped me across the face the other day). And we’re having a staff appreciation day Monday, so there’s that. Also: swimming; ice cream; sleeping in; blogging; reading on the porch with a big glass of something delicious; camping; and other indulgences!

Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway.

  55. I’m looking forward to a relaxing summer.
That’s all I’m asking for, since this is the last time I’ll be actually having a summer vacation (next year I’m having summer rounds at the hospital [med school doesn’t seem to know what the word vacation means])

So I’ll be reading my butt off.
It’s been a week and I can’t feel it already D: (haven’t seen it either but I’m guessing it’s HUGE)

Okay I might need to work out this summer too, (I need to but I’m not looking forward to)

    Thanks for this , Susane.
Loving the shiny new blog ❤

    best, melannie

  56. I am looking forward to discovery more books and eating crabs and not taking summer school. I am studying to be a school library media specialist: just 1 class and my field study to go Fall semester.
