Today I woke up to the sound of rain. Except it wasn’t rain. It was water pouring through the ceiling light in my bathroom. My upstairs neighbor was in the shower and didn’t know his toilet was continuously overflowing. New Yorkers tend to have most interactions with their neighbors when we either run into each other randomly in the hall or are thrown together by catastrophic circumstances. After cleaning up a bunch of toilet water, we determined that he’s paying twice as much rent for the same amount of space. It didn’t seem like the right time to explain how creative visualization can make amazing things possible, so I just said I have a good deal. He stormed off for his three-hour commute to Connecticut and I went back to bed. Ah, precious moments.
But hey! I’ve been interviewed at the Book Obsession. So it’s all good.
I’m loving your comments from yesterday’s contest post. You guys are one unique group. Be proud.

Re: i love rain :3
Thanks! A warm welcome to you
Yeah, I’m also laughing at this. Mostly out of relief that half my bathroom ceiling isn’t on the floor. It could have been so much worse!
That happened to us recently too! I’m glad you got it sorted. Crazy how you’re getting such a good deal on the brownstone… lol!
HAHAHAHA! That neighbor story is hilarious!!
